The Digital Services Act (DSA) is a regulation of the European Union aimed at creating a safer digital space and protecting the fundamental rights of users. ZamZam is committed to fostering a secure digital environment and combating the spread of illegal content.
According to Article 24(2) of the DSA, online platforms are required to disclose information about the average number of monthly active recipients of their service in the EU, calculated as an average over the past six months. ZamZam has calculated the average monthly active users of its service in accordance with the relevant provisions of the DSA. For the six-month period between July 1, 2024, and December 2024, the average number is estimated to be significantly below the threshold for a very large online platform.
